Terms for Nyttio
These are the plain-language ground rules for using Nyttio. They are written for businesses and their users, and sit alongside our privacy notice and data processing agreement.
1. Who operates Nyttio
Nyttio is developed and operated by TellMeTellus AB, company registration number 559066-3703 (”TellMeTellus”, ”we” or ”us”). Nyttio is a platform with tools and business features for organising work.
When a business creates or administers a Nyttio account, that business is the customer. A person using the account does so on the customer's behalf and within the customer's permissions.
2. What the service is – and is not
Nyttio is a work tool. Calculations, templates, suggestions and reminders may assist day-to-day work, but do not replace the customer's own review or professional legal, tax, accounting or financial advice.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that information put into Nyttio is accurate, may be used, and is reviewed before use in contracts, invoices, bookkeeping, payroll or other business documents.
3. Account and safe use
- The customer is responsible for giving access only to people who need it, and removing access when it is no longer needed.
- Each user must protect their credentials and notify us of suspected unauthorised use.
- The customer must not use the service for unlawful content, intrusion, malicious code or to bypass security functions.
- We may restrict access when required for security, legal obligations or to protect the service and its users. We will explain what happened when doing so does not increase risk.
4. Customer data and personal data
The customer remains responsible for its content. When Nyttio processes personal data in the customer's materials on the customer's behalf, the customer is normally the controller and TellMeTellus the processor. Our data processing agreement explains that processing in more detail.
For information TellMeTellus needs to operate the website, administer accounts, provide support and protect the service, TellMeTellus is the controller. This is explained in our privacy notice.
5. Providers that help us
We use carefully selected providers for operations and particular features. When a provider processes the customer's personal data on our behalf, it is a subprocessor. The current list, including purpose, region and protections, is on the Subprocessors page.
In this draft, the customer gives general prior authorisation for the subprocessors listed there. Before adding or replacing a subprocessor that materially affects processing, we will provide reasonable advance information. The customer may raise a substantiated objection under the data processing agreement.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service safe and available, but Nyttio may require maintenance, changes or temporary restrictions. We aim to plan this to minimise impact. Security measures and legal obligations may sometimes require action without advance notice.
Material changes to these terms will be communicated before they take effect. Minor clarifications and changes required by law may be made directly, with an updated version and date on this page.
7. Ending use and data
A user can download their personal account data in the service before closing their user account. Access closes immediately, the account can be restored for 30 days and account and private data are then pseudonymised. Company customers, invoices, accounting, documents and history remain with the company because they may be needed by other authorised users or by law. An authorised company representative uses the dedicated export path or contacts TellMeTellus for an account closure that requires an individual retention assessment.
